Charging

Please follow these instructions carefully to charge Care-O-bot 4:

Note

You can operate the robot while it is being charged but restrict yourself to non-physical activities like using the robot’s perception, its touch screen, or audio devices.

1. Press the emergency button.

2. Open the robot’s lid at its base.

3. If the robot is off press the power button.

   LED becomes green, robot powers on and its computers boot up.

4. Insert charger on the right side. You have to twist the plug, there’s only one orientation that fits.

   LED ring at the robot base swipes in a cyan colour with the length of the colour strip indicating the robot’s charge level.

5. After being finished, remove the charging device and remember to close the lid.

6. Release the emergency button.

Warning

Do not let the robot charge overnight or for several hours without supervision.

Note

The robot will not begin to charge if it has already been turned off. It will, however, continue to charge when shut down while it is already charging.
